✅ Current and continuing undergraduates are eligible for summer HREs. You do not need to be enrolled in summer classes, but you must be returning for fall quarter 2025 if not enrolled during the summer.✅ First-year students (those currently completing their freshman year) are eligible for Summer 2025 HREs at UC Davis Health.

✅ Seniors graduating at the end of summer are eligible only if they are enrolled in at least one summer session. These students may participate in 1-quarter HREs only (not eligible for 2-quarter commitments).

💲 International students placed at non-UC Davis Health HRE sites must enroll in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) through SISS, which requires enrollment in at least one summer unit (fees apply). Visit the Summer Sessions website for fee details. Note: HREs at UC Davis Health are considered "on-campus" and do not require CPT.

❌ Seniors who are filed to graduate for Spring Quarter 2025 are not eligible for Summer 2025 HREs.
Important: Participating in the spring commencement ceremony is not the same as being filed to graduate. Check your OASIS record to confirm your filing status.

Registration for summer 2025 Health-Related Experiences is open now through Tuesday, May 20 at 4:00 pm

Summer 2025 HREs generally begin the week of June 22 and run through August 30. Students MUST be available for all 10 weeks during their selected shift time to participate!

🖱5/13-5/20 - Pass times start - Register for an open experience or a waitlist (registration closes at 4pm on 5/20).

📕 5/21-5/26 - Students registered for an HRE and waitlisters complete Career Center HRE Asynchronous Orientation on Canvas.

💧 5/27 - Any student who does not complete the Career Center HRE Asynchronous Orientation on Canvas is
dropped from their experience slot or waitlist.

💻 5/29 - Open spots become available (first come, first serve) at 12pm, to waitlisted students who completed the Career Center HRE Asynchronous Orientation.

📆 5/27 - Mandatory Career Center HRE Synchronous Orientation at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for UC Davis Health students in a 2 quarter commitment.

📆 5/28 - Mandatory Career Center HRE Synchronous Orientation at 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for UC Davis Health students in a 1 quarter commitment.

📆 6/4 - Mandatory Career Center HRE Synchronous Orientation at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for private site students.
