Spring 2026 HRE Eligibility
✅ Undergraduate students enrolled at UC Davis for spring quarter 2026 are eligible for spring health-related experiences (HREs).
✅ Seniors graduating at the end of spring are eligible for 1-quarter HREs only (not eligible for 2-quarter commitments).
❌ First-year freshmen (i.e. those who recently completed high school) are not eligible for any of the HREs that require sophomore standing or above, including all HREs at UC Davis Health, regardless of class standing listed in OASIS. First-year freshmen will be considered sophomores for the HRE program as of summer 2026.
🟡 A limited number of HREs are available to first-year freshmen. Check the descriptions of individual HREs.
🟡 International students placed at non-UC Davis Health HRE sites must enroll in Curricular Practical Traini ng (CPT) through SISS. First-year international students are not eligible for CPT. Note: HREs at UC Davis Health are considered "on-campus" and do not require CPT.
