Organization UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden Organization Description The University of California, Davis Arboretum is an approximately 100-acre arboretum along the banks of the old north channel of Putah Creek on the south side of the University of California, Davis campus in unincorporated Yolo County, California, in the United States. The arboretum was founded in 1936. Website https://arboretum.ucdavis.edu/ Project Title Native Plant Care Project Description Help care for native plants in the Arboretum and an adjacent city greenbelt! Learn about habitat restoration, native grasses, and wildflowers. Learn how to identify different plant seedlings, and help pull weedy plants to help our natives thrive and flourish this spring! Work project will be outdoors. Conditions may be cold and wet. Gloves, tools, and training will be provided.
