Organization Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary Organization Description Founded in 1993, Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary is an animal rescue group dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of homeless and abused animals throughout the Sacramento area. Needy animals are rescued, nurtured, and provided shelter and medical care (including spaying and neutering) before being placed in safe, loving, permanent homes. Website http://www.happytails.org/ Project Title Kitty Volunteer! (1/31, 2/1, 2/2) Project Description Spend some time around all the kitties! Catnip volunteers (1/31 & 2/2) should ask for Phil and will be scooping litter boxes, sweeping, refilling food and water bowls, changing bedding, laundry, mopping walls, cleaning cat trees, and washing windows. Center area volunteers (2/1) should ask for Diane and will clean outside the rooms: the grates, windowsills, windows; magic erase mop the hallways, meeting room, meds room, Intake & ISO (after the cages have been cleaned) and clean the bathrooms. Both areas have lots of cats!
