Organization Powerhouse Science Center Organization Description Engages and inspires people of all ages to explore the wonders, possibilities, and responsibilities of science. Website http://powerhousesc.org/ Project Title Museum Day Assistant (Saturday) Project Description Powerhouse Science Center will be participating in Sacramento's 21st Annual Museum Day which is held the first Saturday in February on an annual basis. Twenty-four local museums will be participating in free and reduced admission to celebrate Sacramento's incredible wealth of art, history, science, and wildlife. Powerhouse Science Center will be offering free admission, so we will be expecting anywhere between 1,500 to 2,000 guests. We depend on you to keep our busiest day of the year running smoothly! There will be three shift options: morning (9:30am-1:30pm), afternoon (1:00-5:00pm), or all day (9:30am-5:00pm). We have a variety of important jobs, which include the following: Design Lab Monitor, Exhibit Monitor(Front/middle/back), Floater, Gift shop assistance, Greeter/Way finder, Line control, Planetarium Door Gatekeeper, Snack Table Sales, and Ticker / Guest count.
